As the seasons holidays approach (the end of Hanukkah, Christmas Day, and Kwanza), I was tryign to think of something that connected each of them.
I chose "[the] joy" because it's what I hope everyone feels during this time before a new year approaches and we strive to improve our lives the those of others in the near and distant future.

- I'm from Northern Virginia, just outside of D.C. I love traveling, esp. to large cities. I read a lot. I want a B.A., 2 Masters Degrees, and at least one PhD. I love single-origin coffees from Africa and South America. My family is the most important thing in my life. My friends are the second. Staying positive is third. I want to help as many people as I can before I die. I want to be fluent in 5 languages before I'm 30. Music should almost always be playing. I love NPR. Madonna takes up half my iPod, I'm pretty sure. Nagoya, Japan in Spring '10. Rennes, France in Spring '11. Madrid, Spain in Summer '11. I want to teach English in France for a year. I want to do the Peace Corps. in N.W. Africa or South America. I want to get my first M.A. in an International Program in Washington, D.C. or NYC after the previous 3 things. I'm not going to graduate with a B.A. until May '11. I hope. Everyone I graduated High School with should have graduated this year. I have a weakness for older men. I have started to distrust homosexual males under the age of 20. Everyone should be loved by someone. I love buying clothes and books.
