It is the end of 2008, and I've noticed around me, in my life and the media, a lot of concentrating on the year we have passed, rather than the year ahead. I think it's because we're so uncertain as to what the future holds that we can only be sure of what has happened and feel as proud and comforted as we can.
Today's word is "[the] memory," as in the idea of remembering. Not a memory that you have.

- I'm from Northern Virginia, just outside of D.C. I love traveling, esp. to large cities. I read a lot. I want a B.A., 2 Masters Degrees, and at least one PhD. I'm not going to graduate with a B.A. until May '11. I hope. Everyone I graduated High School with should have graduated this year. I have a weakness for older men. I have started to distrust homosexual males under the age of 20. Everyone should be loved by someone. I love buying clothes and books.
